Omer's Literacy Portfolio
Welcome!
My name is Omer Zahid, and I am a candidate for Masters in the Reading, Writing, Literacy (RWL) program at Penn GSE. I am also an international Fulbright scholar for the academic year 2023-24.
This portfolio is a reflection of my changing relationship with literacy - particularly multimodal platforms - as an educator, student and future practitioner. Join me as I revisit some memories from the program, grapple with some tensions around literacy in local/global contexts, and offer some takeaways for future trajectories.
Please feel free to contact me - questions, comments and suggestions are all welcome!
